Over 30 million Americans are out of work and growing. We know finding a job is frustrating and challenging but I found employment in a different field in the middle of the worst part of the recession. It was not easy and the job came out of sending my resume and education information with a cover letter to an agency that had an ad in an employment paper. They provided the training needed and paid me while I learned the new skills.

Finding a job is almost like finding money on the ground, you weren't looking to find it but happy you are to have it. Although it looks like no jobs exists but don't give up, "There is Hope". You must however remain positive and daily with diligence go through these steps. If done properly you will see yourself in a new career.

Think about jobs you would enjoy doing, think about jobs in the Health Care Field, and the ITT industry, find out what the skill requirements are and start learning them. The direct care field is open but you must have certain specific skills, learn them.

Go to company websites and daily put in 10 to 20 applications and go back every 1 or 2 weeks to check the status. You must pursue a job like it was a woman you wanted to be with but you must convince her of your sincerity. Persistence is key. Consider doing volunteer work somewhere you would like to work and show them you stuff.

Make yourself valuable to them somehow. Check for jobs in other places, follow-up word of mouth job possibilities. Go and check. Investigate possibilities; nothing beats a loss but a try.

This article will give you some different steps to take to attack a difficult and unpredictable employment arena. You must expand your job search out of your comfort zone, and into different area codes. You never know where you may find jobs, maybe in other towns and cities. Do not be too afraid to venture away to be successful.

Seek it out and secure it, find out what the qualifications are and acquire them.

You must make yourself qualify in some way for the job even if volunteering is the only way. Make contact with various company websites and learn what they do, try to tailor your cover letter to hiring person in human resource. Revise resume for different jobs. In the Medical and Technology fields jobs are abundant start your training now, the future in those areas are very bright. So, realize you must invest in new and different skills, education and training. Alright, LETS GET BUSY!
