These courses include anatomy, physiology, medical instrument identification and maintenance and medical terminology. You also will take typing and medical transcription courses in addition to bookkeeping, accounting fundamentals and medical record keeping. After graduating from an accredited medical assistant school, you will have the opportunity to sit for your state board exam and become certified.
